Hello Everyone, (LOOKING FOR MORE PLAYERS).....

I thought this might be a fun thread to start. Here is how it works. I have posted an image. Try to guess what it is. The winner gets the pleasure and honour of selecting the next item in the challenge. The items you choose can be part of a larger item, an unusual view or angle, anything, I mean anything, that you feel might encourage some guessing and end up with an "oh ya, now that I know what it is I can totally see it" sort of response. The object is to have fun. The images do not have to be perfect, just yours. If you are the current "item" submitter, it is important that you keep an eye on the thread so you can stop the challenge and announce the winner so they can put their item up and keep a flow going. (plus you do not want us all to keep guessing for a week if the item was recognized on the first day).

So without further delay........

Here is the first item.

Thanks for playing, Have fun, and Good Luck

If you don't mind my tongue in cheek response - you would be right on the money! (It is a macro shot of a Canadian penny). So Pentaxnut you are up   Post an object and run the next one.

Have fun,

Hello Adnan Erol,

While we do appreciate your enthusiasm and welcome everyone to this game thread, the "prize" or "honour" of posting the next item is suppose to go to the quick witted member that produced the correct guess. I have asked Pentaxnut, if under the circumstances, he would allow your item to stand and we can keep moving forward.

So Everyone...... Let the game roll on (lets see if we can get some activity going).

P.S. (sometimes a good challenging image can come from a crop of an image, this can create mystery)

Not a Problem....I just got my main computer back up....anyway here ya go....this should be a fairly easy one....no crop just a macro and you get the photo in all its glory straight from the camera. no PP

Shotgun cartridge? If it's right carry on, I haven't got a macro to hand.

Macros are effective.... but you don't have to have a macro. A crop can work just as well. Or an item taken on an odd or different angle. I bet most people have a few things kicking around the house from yesteryear (days gone by..... pre 1960, etc).

If you are not ready would you allow Adnan Erol to submit his image back in to keep the game rolling?

Nothing need be added from the photographer's inner consciousness to make it more beautiful. His work is there, behind the camera. Any error there can never be atoned for, and no amount of printing control can make it come out right.
