The greatest (car) show on earth !  Unbelievably huge (up to 1km in each direction) it has become the #1 place to launch and display your new & latest cars. Not surprising considering when the rest of the world's car market was contracting China's was expanding at over 100% a year !  This year has slowed though ... only a 45% increase expected

Still, the scenes are crazy and shooting cars, models or the environment is made difficult from the sheer volume of people attending - 280,000 last Sunday (opening day) alone !

Anyway more of the cars and environment to come in other threads - this one however is for eye candy !

Wow, that's a very nice series actually. I like the composition of many of these and the lighting seems spot on. Really well done. If I may ask, what lens and lighting were you using in these. Oh, #13 & 14 are my fav's here.

Thank you for those kind comments BCB !

My memory isn't the best but for certain the lens used for all of these was the Sigma 50-150 (mostly shot at f2.8 except for one shot @ f4, two shots @ f5.6 and the dancers at f8 ) on a K5.  ISO was 200 to 2,000 (TAv mode). Shutter 1/180 (with flash) to 1/250 (without flash). Flash used I believe was the Yongnuo YN 560.

I used a diffused manual flash David - the Yongnuo YN 560 speedlite.
