this shot i cropped a little bit,   but was trying to figure out how to make the lines parallel , ( the shadow was parallel to the line of the cupboard door in ' real life ' )   the straighten tool will only do so much.

Hey, I like this. It's more of an abstract but it has nice interest to my eye. The screen pattern over the image works to add more interest. Very nice.
. . .  the straighten tool will only do so much.
And sometimes it works to Crop just enough that the Straighten tool only has one edge to deal with.

Hey, it's YOUR picture. You present it as it pleases YOU if you choose . . . and so long as it's your best offering at the time there's no need for suppositions or buts.

If you later discover a way that pleases you more, so much the better; you're free to change your mind and do it again. Or not.

Critique is most useful. We either learn something of value or it strengthens our current belief in ourselves.  Both are valuable outcomes.

(I once had a professor that decried the fact that as he became more accomplished in his field, critique came most often from those not as experienced as himself. And it really pissed 'im off to realize that sometimes they were right!   Huh )

David: open the RAW image in PDCU4. On the lower right, click on Rotate/Shift. Click the "Apply" box and play around with them.
