I am glad to visit PentaxWorld with a new look.  I am excited to post a new post where I document a small history of my digital journey with Pentax since Pentax K100D, K10D and now K20D.  I am undecided on K-x or K-7 or both and when it makes sense to move on.

Besides digital, I also start going back to film with Pentax SuperProgram and Pentax 645N, the LBA and CBA in me is quite substantial.

Why I Love Pentax -- my latest blog post

Hin,

Thanks for sharing your blog - very interesting reading  Cool

I see you have Herbert Keppler's Pentax Way, I bought mine in the early 70's and still read it periodically.

Jim (thanks for providing the link to this wonderful video). This is one of those underdog, feel good, videos that can melt almost any heart. Very moving - brought a tear of joy to this old dog's eye

Thank you to all for the wonderful replies and encouragement.  I pick the video as I really feel the story to be in line with the Pentax users.  All recent dSLR produce great images.  But I see Pentax to be unique and more interesting.  Some of us may go for another brand another time and I am not immune to the temptation.  But it is interesting to remember that I did choose Pentax for a reason.  I don't want to be like anyone else with a big L or VR lens.

As the old man pushes the deaf girl to ponder the question --- "Why.....  do you want to be just like others."   Everyone is unique and I pride in Pentax with great offers for uniqueness and out-of-the-box thinking in ergonomics, small sizes, SR in body, a great offering of limited primes in small form factor but nothing small in the IQ and value.

Warmest,
Hin

Pentax lenses are definitely a different breed as compared to the rest in the market. While others are making bigger and larger lenses, Pentax continues to make it smaller and more compact.

Interesting read at your blog, Hin. Thanks for sharing!

(Glad to have you back!)

Hi. May I know where can I get this book you are mentioning.

Udin, you can buy it from the following sellers:

http://www.amazon.com/gp/...-spell&condition=used

If the link becomes invalid you can go to Amazon and search the title "The Pentax Way" by Herbert Keppler
