When meeting with Pentax, I suggested that one of the givens for a pro spec camera is a synchro X input, which the K10D does not have.  They agreed with me and assured me that it would be available on the next evolution..

Do people still use pc cables?  I thought everyone was using Pocket Wizards or the less expensive ebay units?

Another idea would be if they put x-sync connectors on their flash units.  Make connecting the radio wireless receivers easier.

Benjikan,

You mean the Flash X Sync connector on the camera? It is mainly for studio flash usage?

Exactly, or if using flash outdoors, which I often do to really make the background go a few stops darker and quite saturated.

Not very often, but if there is a problem with the wireless receiver, it is always assuring to know that I can still use a cable.

Well, for the moment, carry one of these with you. It has a pc socket on it, plus will keep all voltages below 6 volts to protect the circuit no matter what your flash trigger voltage is.
