I will be meeting with three executives from Pentax France including the President this Saturday at my photo shoot and will relate some of the general concerns re; banding, white balance issues amongst other things.  I will give them a list of items and will wait for their feedback.

I look forward to your report.  Let them know that we highly appreciate their cameras and its price for performance.

I'm also looking forward to you sharing some images.  I realize it might take some time for that.

Benjamin, I have concerns regarding quality of customer support in Europe. Would you be so kind to print and bring with you to the meeting this message from DPreview http://forums.dpreview.co...1036&message=21980628 ? I also have backfocus issue (and also frequent overexposures by ~ 2stops) with my K10D and Pentax lenses (FA 77 Lmited, FA 50/1.4 and even FA 31 Limited) and am based in UK, thus I would have to bring my camera to the same bunch of funny people calling themself "Pentax support".

I hope amongst the "list" there is mention of the exposure issue using M lenses.
Thanks for the good work.

I spoke with Pentax this morning.  They will forward all of the info I was given.  It will go to Head Office for Europe and after that to Tokyo.  As a working photographer, I am pleased to assist all I am able to, however only if it does not affect detrimentally the time I need to do my job.

I've noted this issue on other boards, and have had it crop up on my K10D a couple of times.  Is it an issue for you, and is it continual or intermittent in nature?
