I spent a few days camped on the Current River and had an opportunity to see what the expanded DR of the K5 could do. This shot was 2.5 sec, f11 in very dim light. Did considerable PP to bring out details in the bluff, while retaining the exposure on me and Jake. The fact I could do both these things and still get good detail in the campfire speaks quite well for the K5's expanded DR. This is the kind of situations where it really comes in handy.

Actually getting the fire right and all else here is impressive. Would not have been my first thought for this kind of demonstration however, I get it. Well done.

Thanks Tim. Campfires are tough, and the lower the ambiant light the harder it is, so this was a good, practical test for me.
