I've seen a lot of  discussions going on in other forums about the K-5 price. The new K has arrived in web stores here in Norway so I just thought to post my findings here:

Japanphoto:
Pentax K-5 9,990 NOK, 1,682 USD
Nikon D300s 9,990 NOK, 1,682 USD
Nikon D7000 10,199 NOK, 1,732 USD
Canon 7D 10,990 NOK, 1,868 USD

All prices are body only.

Quite reasonably priced imho.
