New to the forum, I would like to say Hello.
I’m Interested to know about any back focus problems others have had.
I am using a Pentax k10d / FDA50mm f2.8.
I have been researching this problem and my questions are,
Can back focus be repaired?
What steps have people taken to correct this?

I have upgraded to 1.10 and have just noticed BF with my 50 wide open.
What do Pentax repair people need from me?

Thanks .

Dear Stefano,

I have a customer who has a focus accuracy problem with his lens, and what Pentax did was to replace a new unit for him. He is in Singapore so I am not sure of Pentax policy in other country.

Thanks for your reply.
So, are you saying the problem is with the lens and not with the body?

Stefano,

No, as I do not have your lens and body with me, hence I can't draw any conclusion.

Here's some questions:
1. How do you conduct the focus accuracy test? Show us your test photos here.
2. Did you test with other lenses? Any problem with other lenses?
