The presenter casually waves it around like it's cheap to replace if you drop it!

Too funny. I haven't spent my $$$ yet. 3000.00 more to go of the 8000.00 I need. Still time to consider options. This would be a excellent camera to own. Looks like the handling is similar to a regulat Pentax DSR. JIMBO

Coming from the Pentax 67 film world, the 645D is a really easy transition.  It feels and handles as befits pro level gear; solid, comfortable and reliable.

The IQ from this camera with a quality lens (P67 55-100 zoom) is breathtaking, and this is from a dedicated P67 film shooter.   Despite my best efforts using the highest resolution B&W film I could obtain (Rollei ATP 1.1) I could not surpass the 645D in B&W IQ (color is absolutely no contest).

No Regrets.
