Just remember, it's a road map and is likely subject to change, but it is the first new one since 2009. I second the hooray!

We all know that this is just a forecast of what might be coming. Nevertheless, as BCB wrote, it is the first roadmap since quite a few years which is already a very good sign.

The roadmap does finally mention a lens which I am waiting for since a very long time, a lens going over 300mm, the DA tele prime located somewhere at 550mm. The DA Limited Zoom sounds interesting as well. The DA 1.4 converter is also a more than welcome addition.

Surprisingly, the DA 1.4x converter has drop the SDM.

As road-mapped for 2013 or later, it could change and even vanish...

Nope, look again, there's both a limited zoom and a star zoom.

Well this looks very hopeful in terms of the overall Ricoh-Pentax merger. Thanks.

Oh yes, you're right. I missed it. That should be interesting.
