thanks for the chart,  pacerr,  i'll start experimenting with the different mode settings,   i've got the menu setting for 'normal' in the program line,   but there is one for mtf,    if i understand mtf would just put the settings at the best aperture for the particular lens ?    i kinda get what the others program line settings are for.      but i see your points on the radio button idea,   thanks.  dave

And note that you can apply your own custom tweaks to many of the pre-set "buttons" too.
