What a great series!  Particularly fond of the Minnie and Mickey shots.  I think you have made the plastic models look alive.  This is a lesson to the many plastic looking "super models" we see in magazines.

Hi eskil,
What I'm trying to 're-create' here is to give life to these world famous characters. Basically... I shot them really close-up most of the time & at their eye-level, nothing different from doing 'real' portraiture.

In order to generate that movie feel, thoughts were given on the surrounding scene & depth was created by using 'selective' focusing.
Other techniques used are 'panning with flash', 'slow shutter with flash' & of course photoshop.

But technical techniques aside, it has to be the storyline (simple ones) that allows it to flow, something that all of us knew... & something that's fun to do & to do it seriously at the same time (am I contradicting?)... hahaha.
