I just liked the shape of the dead one and worked the bloomed one into the background.

Hey Snoid, this is a great shot! The flower right-at-the-face approach, adds lots of depth to the image. Nice!

Thanks, everyone, for your kind comments.
 I was trying to show that this flower (african daisy)
displayed beauty even as it died. I felt that the full bloom in the background add depth in more ways than one.
