Pentax Lens Nomenclature

To help in the understanding of all the lenses Pentax has released over the years here are two classic sites.  The first has a lot of good information on the K mount Pentax cameras, lenses and accessories.  The second is the classic lens review site for many of the pre-digital lenses.

I have been totally confused about lens nomenclature, more so in view of my recent switch to Pentax. Thank you so much for clarifying few things for me. By the way, I love my K10d.
