Enjoy every moment of life like it was your last

Hey, I look at it like for about $70. I can buy a piece of "good glass" history, and I get a lot of pleasure from that.  I am not suffering from acquisitiveness.
Now I'm interested in finding a pentax smc 58mm 1.8 manual prime, about which I have read many fascinating reports.  If anyone has any input about the lens I would love to hear it. It supposedly works on any k mount, like my K100D and is easy to focus unlike my Pentax M50mm 1.7 manual prime that I did not enjoy
focusing. and would love to sell very reasonably to someone who would enjoy having it.  54 Freddy

Note to Fraddy, Never say you dislike a lens and in the same line we want to sell it. Something like "I have out grown my love for the lens" or "doesn't fit my new syle of shooting" or my favorite "Love the lens and really hate to part with it but I seen another beauty I just need to Have" Hate to let it go boys.  Good luck.   Yes, you're right, Jimbo. But actually the lens is in excellent + condition and I think advanced photogs  who are familiar with the lens probably know what I'm saying.  I'll take your advice, though.   Thanks, Freddy

Great advice, Jimbo: "I have out grown my love for the lens" or "doesn't fit my new syle of shooting" or my favorite "Love the lens and really hate to part with it but I seen another beauty I just need to Have" Hate to let it go boys."
Can I substitue wife for lens?

I thought about teaching her to read, Freddy, but decided against it.
She does snoop around in my email once in a while, but has no interest or knowledge of photography.
Besides, she actually can take a joke--most of the time.

Oh, Ron, it's a rare woman who can take a joke.  As soon as you marry them, they seem to suddenly lose their sense of humor.  I don't know why they don't understand LBA.  It seems quite natural to me.

Hey 54Freddy...... my buddies and I have a saying we remind each other with anytime one of us gets onto complaining about the little lady. "you caught it you clean it".  Grin

I believe woman are nest builders, while men are hunters &  conquers. From a nest perspective things like LBA seem wild and uncontrolled to them. The trick is to make sure you give them something else, much larger, to focus on. If my wife is lucky she may tame me down to cave man by the time one of us dies. Always keep them off balance. They all have a soft spot for the little boy in us.... it is the unshaven, beer swilling, farting, man that they detest.

I have found these videos to help explain "women" to you 54Freddy

No body likes a good bridge any more! I was trying to tell Freddy that if he does plan to sell to stay on the positive side of things. Cheers and Spyglass, my wife wants to marry you. You seem to understand women much better then I... Undecided Undecided Wink Cheesy  JIMB O

The age old question is: "What do women want?"
I'm old enough to have figured that out.
Women what whatever it is they don't happen to have at the moment.
