  Flash ring for pentax cameras: would that help my onboard flash?

I have boxes of GE blue and several flash guns. I still remember my grandfather juggling a hot burnt flash bulb from hand to hand. Those puppies let you know that you had been flashed! I've shot a few too but remember the flash cubes better.

Ahh, cubes were for sissies.  New fangled automation gadgets for people with pop-up toasters. ;D ;D

I did get to SEE a metal can of FLASH POWDER once -- but wasn't allowed to touch it.   :-\

And for heaven's sake, don't tell anyone you've got flash GUNS today!!

Started with blue bulbs and never did use cubes and also remember the odd burn  ;D

An' some of us even used 'em when they were clear bulbs the size of golf balls an' the reflectors seemed like pizza trays! Those were really 'hot potatoes' if you "reloaded" too quick.
