I do not want to leave the series as it is. I had a GPS with me, as well now in the rainy season, as in the dry season back in September, and I tried to find a few photos taken mostly at the same place, but with 6 months in between.

Interested in a few comparison shots?

130
Luangwa River, same place

131
Taken inside the parc. Taken at the same place, but opposite direction.

132
Luangwa Wafwa Oxbow, same place

133
Terrasse of the lodge, same place

134
Nsefu area. One shot taken beside the river, the other on the river from a boat

And well, before you ask, not any single of these shots were taken with a polarizer.

Thank you Jim.

Well, I came back from that trip with over 1500 photos, and after heavy sorting, I still had over 400 keepers. The weather made the whole difference, the animals are in much better shape, and the details and colors are so much better, it does make photography much easier, except when it is raining.

Dominique,

An excellent series - I was fascinated with the season comparisons - quite remarkable.  Cool

Thank you Mike.

As for the season comparison, if I was told in the dry season what the wet season is looking like, I would not have believed it.

Now, in the wet season, I tried to explain other tourists what it is looking like in the dry season, I guess they did not believe me.
