That is Ok, as long as the maximum side is between 500~800 range. In your case, your width is 800 and it is find.

I'm a little confussed on the max photo size now. Rules say 500 to 800 as the max dimmension of the longest side. So a square crop picture can be 800 by 800 right? or do you prefer square pics to be 500 by 500 max?

Hmmm. Perhaps you should base the restriction on the diagonal measurement.
