So true Markus. Big files under certain software applications can really tax ones processor and take time.

have you tried the one-shot HDR setting at all yet,  markus ?    there are three different settings,   one for jpeg,  two for raw.     i only tried jpeg,  and with only that one photograph.

 Weighing options here.

Let's see now. 2-4 min in the developer tank -- 15 sec in stop bath -- 2-5 min in hypo -- 5 min to clean up the spilled tray  Cry  -- do it all over again to get the contrast right  Angry -- 30 min in wash tank -- overnight to dry . . .

Nope, I think I can live with 90 seconds today.  Grin Grin Grin

I'd hazard a guess that the 2GB ram is your issue and maybe not DXO7 !  Most computers will need 4 GB (and 8GB is definitely better) to run high-end graphics programs.

Samsung RAW Converter this file processed ok. 10 sek.!!!!

If You plan process 100 photos in DXO You must wait 150 min.!!!!

In SRC it be development in ok. 17 min.

Difference is too big...for me.

2 GB RAM to process single RAW files in batch mode is sufficient.

It might be sufficient but graphics programs are notorious for the amount of memory they consume, as you have just found out with DXo7. I started off with 4GB on my Macbook Pro and upped that to 8GB before I was happy with the speed, in contrast our newer iMac has 4GB and is just as fast as the laptop. 2GB is scrapping by for graphics programs are they not going to operate optimally at that low level of memory. Memory is cheap, doubling your 2GB should make quite a difference.
