Just wondering if anyone in our PentaxWorld has taken a course from Bryan Peterson (Perfect Picture School of Photography)?  I am interested your impressions and thoughts of the same.

TIA

Hello

Last year, I attended the Abottsford Photographic Club and Bryan Peterson was the guest speaker, and Bryan put on several presentations. One I liked was one about taking reflection photos in a puddle - he moves things around from outside the area of view - to highlite his pictures. I regularly receive emails from PPSOP with several interesting articles. A good friend has attended Bryan courses and came out with new ideas.

Thanks for the reply, Terry.  I got quite a bit out of Bryan Petersons books and the 8 week "Understanding Exposure" was a good deal too.  I'll report back to group on how it is going as I work through the course.

Completed the "Understanding Exposure" course, and I would not recommend it to anyone who is in any way familiar with the basics of a DSLR.  Critique was mostly boilerplate and even silly at times.  Maybe some of the more "advanced" courses are better, but I would need to be convinced....

Bryan Peterson's books comprise much better content and value in comparison to the course I took.

My opinion only, but there it is.
