I came to this site because it said Pentax. I stayed because I really like the various characters that populate it. Jimbo was one of my pet people, but he seems to have wondered off and got lost in Nikonland (or was it Canon Canyon). Doesn't matter to me what he shoots, and I worry about him wandering in the wilderness. Jimbo come home.

Jimbo still leads the double life of a PentaNikonian but is traveling a lot and other work related stuff. He posts on anther site (gasp!) that he and I frequent and he's been a spotty poster there of late as well. I think it's really just a case of him being extra busy.

I miss Jimbo...... and his buddy Daacon.  Cry

I see Jimbo's posts on the "other" site and wonder why he doesn't love us any more.  Sad

Neither one of them love us any more.  Their return is all I'm asking for this Christmas, in addition to peace on earth.

Yes, someone go kidnap the gentle giant and his cocky-hated side-kick. We need more hats around here.

Guys,  I miss you all too. I have been extremely busy but I still check in on the site every week. I promise to start posting some images again and hanging out. Daacon has gone into hiding again. Will call to make sure everything is ok.

I have planned a very interesting trip for next September. I wil be heading to Iceland for two weeks to photogrpagh with two other folks. Really looking forward to the trip. Dave and I hit Jasper and Banaff this year. My goal is to take a two weeks trip every year to keep trying to improve on my hobby.

I do think about all of you all the time and  miss the intereactions with a number of memebers here. I may not get here as often as the past but this site still means a lot to me. Cheers and the best to you and your Families over the holidays. Regards JIM

Jim, while I'm sure all appreciate the update, I did a check earlier today and you had been on the site, a few days ago. I'd hardly call that missing in action here. There are quite a few other members I miss, LaRee for example, where are you? You have a great website now http://www.lareebrownell.com/, wtlwdwgn - haven't seen you since April, what's up? Jocoan - been missing you since August, where are the bikes? What about Francis Lee, it's been since April as well. There are a few others I miss.

Thanks and the same to you and your family. All the best!

One of these days, I hope to get together with you for a shoot. Either down my way or up in your area. We are about due to attend the Vancouver Folk Music festival again (we go every few years) and if we can make it, I'd try to look you up.

For God's sake, man, put the hat back on.
Be careful what you wish for, eh?
