Facebook? Heck, even the name's scary.   

Personally, I kind'a like being being one of the remaining few million people in the solar system that's NOT showin' 'is @ss on Facebook.

Goes with tearin' up junk mail without opening it an' not answerin' the phone while I'm at the dinner table -- or otherwise occupied. Never have texted, much less sexted, an' I can't imagine doing either while drivin'.

Besides, If I "friended" someone I'd feel duty-bound to feel bad and confess if I was ever to consider sprinklin' coyote piss around their photo blinds.  Grin Grin

Ron - I was on it for a month a year and a half ago. My conclusion was that it was a waste of my time (I'll waste my time as I like, on photographic forums!). As I also do web design, I have to acknowledge that it's the coming thing and I need to understand it as some of my clients want it.

Pacer & Earl,

I am with you guys. I have never been tempted to join Facebook, Twitter / Tweet, or any of those social media sites. Forums is as close as I will probably ever slide - LOL.  I can't see myself ever texting. Friends have tried to get me to Text but I flat out refuse. I do not even read the ones that people try to send to me. If I want to communicate I will phone.

Yeh, I'm on Facebook and Twitter  Wink

Most of my friends on Facebook are either, Family, fellow retirees from work, or photographic contacts, and apart from some of the photo contacts I have met everyone personally.

I resisted Twitter for a long time as I was concerned as to the privacy. I follow people and sites that interest me but I have only "tweeted" about 6 times in a year. If used carefully it can be quite productive.

I read your post to my 13yr old granddaughter at breakfast and she remarked "...but he used LOL"  Grin

Hey Guys,  I was pressured into joining the herd on farcebook, but the way Google+ is laid out makes much more sense in controlling privacy.  Any of you on Google+ yet?  I like the way photos upload there better and how you share them with others.  I believe it's still in beta, but looks like it will be very good once it officially launches.
