A couple of weeks ago, at the urging of tourist businesses around here, I decided to start guiding fishermen again. Last week I picked up a canoe, and yesterday I took my first clients on a float-fishing trip down the Current River.

Well, it looks like a couple of happy customers. How was it?

Nice, warm, sunny day. Wind was blowing hard upstream, which made keeping the canoe in position and fishing difficult. Was glad I had a trolling motor. Fishing was as slow as I've seen it on the Current, but we managed to catch a few. Clients seemed satisfied. Paid me. One thing about float fishing: the floating itself is part of the experience and the Current is so beautiful, it is the only National Park designated to protect a river system as the National Scenic Riverways.

Aww, I donno know, Ron. Ya talk about publisher's concerned about photo manipulation . . .

That looks suspiciously like the same fish you been usin' all year; or 've you taken to rentin' a new one each trip now?   Roll Eyes

Just was reading up on the Ozark National Scenic Riverway (which includes the Current River). I had no idea, well it is a long way from the left coast that I live on. Heck I just was half way there in southern Utah a the beginning of the month. I must put that down as a place to visit someday. No doubt Ron will still be using the same fish then too...

Ya see?! What'd I tell ya.

I wouldn't be surprised to discover he's contracted for a micro-miniature, smallmouth bass-sized version of the mechanical doohickey they used in that Great White in the movie "Jaws" and used one a them rubber dolls  for 'is female, squirrel-shooter' model last month.  Lips sealed

So, let me get this straight, you are saying that he's got a robot fish (let's call him - gums), and that you feel that squirrel shooter was a rubber doll? Um...have you checked your meds and/or prescription lately? Hey, I'm just wondering...

Oh, ah...what was this tread about anyway?

Upon closer inspection I believe Pacerr may be onto something regard T-man using a "special" fish........ (the old price tag faux pas)
