ok yea I know in a perfect world buying all the same flash would be the best thing to do but :

would this work

would a k10d set off a Pentax Pentax AF-360 FGZ and Sigma EF-530 DG Super off wirelessly together and have the ttl work

and

could I use either on a k100d and then set the other off wirelessly so
the sigma on the k100d and set the pentax af 360 off
or the pentax 360 on the camera and set the sigma off

just needed some help mix and matching and wondered if it would work

thanks for any help or advice

The K10 will work wireless with your AF360 FGZ in P-TTL. (with your on camera flash being the control / trigger,  - the on board flash can be set to be active as an illumination means in the photo, or not. Watch the demo video at B&H Photo to see how to register the flash with the camera and set it up. Great video as it shows step by step.

Pentax Af360 FGZ Demo at B&H Photo

I would try setting the AF360FGZ as the Main flash, and see if the Sigma will function as the Slave flash. If this does not work try it the other way around. (Sigma being the Main Flash and the Pentax being the slave).

As for your Sigma 50, at the very least it should be able to work as a slave and its exposure set manually. The two problems would be pre triggering (by the pre flash that the on board flash emits), and exposure. If the camera and AF360 FGZ have no knowledge that the Sigma is in the mix you would get over exposure.
Not having any knowledge of the Sigma flash units I would assume that it is TTL compatible when used on the hot shoe, and additional Sigma flash units could be uses wireless because they could be set in slave mode and be commanded by Sigma flash unit on the hotshoe. The flash shoe unit have full communication with your camera.

EF-530DG Flash
TTL Wireless Flash Function
TTL wireless flash function allows the flash to be positioned and operated from a location away from the camera. Operation and features of EF-530DG Super change according to the camera model in use.The Sigma, Konica-Minolta/Sony, Nikon (D80, D70, D70s, D200 only), Pentax
*istD, cameras’ built-in flash can be used for triggering the EF-530 DG SUPER, located away from the camera.
The models for Sigma (SD10), Canon, Pentax D-SLRs, and Nikon (D50, D40, D40x, D2 Series and F6) can utilize an EF-530 DG Super mounted on the camera hotshoe for triggering single or multiple EF-530 DG Super units located away from the camera.

Slave Flash
The Designated Slave function allows you use of two or more EF-530 DG SUPER flash units and also flashguns can fire together by using the channel settings. Since the EF-530 DG SUPER is equipped with this function, it can be used with all camera models. It is also possible to use the camera’s built-in flash or another flash unit in Normal Slave mode (Flash Exposure must be adjusted manually).

Sigma EF-530 Flash info

Sounds like a fun project for you to play around with.

Hope this helps,

I have a 530 DG Super and would like to know if it could be used wireless with TTL combined with a pentax flash.  I was told by my local shop that it likely wouldn't work but he said it may.

You are welcome LaRee. I have tried to find ways to copy the tutorials as I am afraid that they might disappear once B&H Photo & Pentax move onto a newer flash model. The guy in the demo kind of reminds me of the late comedian Phil Hartman (used to be with Saturday Night Live).

How funny, he does remind me of Phil Hartman too. I hadn't thought about that video disappearing, but I suppose it is inevitable. Hmmm...I wonder how one would go about snagging that? Way beyond my abilities but I'm sure someone could do it.
