Thanks for reporting this. The interesting thing is the more that I learn about the Canon 40D the more I'm glad I own the Pentax k10d and k20d that I do. The Canon is just really much harder to figure out how to do stuff on. Yes, it can take pictures faster and the viewfinder seems a bit wider than my Pentax but, I'll stand by the well laid out features and menus of the Pentax. Unless someone comes up with an answer here, when I get the time, I'll play with it more.

Oh, and I really have to admit, I'm really impressed with the AF160FC. It's a joy to use and was clearly designed with Pentax's macros in mind.

Tim, Keep us posted with your results or any info you come across. I know no other system and I'm glad I started with Pentax! I think I will be a Pentaxian for life! Sounds like you will be too! Right on, Tim!

Well, the truth be known, I've used Minolta 35mm film gear since high school and my father's 1930's era 35mm range finder Leica's before that. When I got back into slr's and wanted to go digital, Minolta was no more. What I found in Pentax is a similarly brilliant design quality and different way of thinking. Yep, I'm hooked for sure.
