I want to get this flash for my K100D, but I am wondering if it can do P-TTL like the Sigma 500DG Super.

I tried searching, but ended up with contradicting statements.

and what is meant by High speed synchro, I believe that the K100D max out at 1/180 for flash shots. So this is not important?

no problem. it works great on my DS. it may not on the K10 but sigma will rechip it free.
it also works great using manual lenses. why the onboard flash doesn't i have no clue!!

Just realised its Sigma 500ST without the DG annotation.

This means that this flash doesn't do p-ttl?

I can get it for USD 69.44 (after conversion from RM) here 2nd hand. Is it worth it ( I cant find an ebay price for reference)

I think 500 ST( no "DG" annotation) would not work with K10D but it can be used with the flash set to manual mode only.

IMHO you'd be better off with an automatic flashgun( those which have sensors) or even the newer Sigma 500DG ST/ super

Thaks.
That is my feeling too. It's looks like that camera didn't recognize flash in TTL mode.
