Since I started digital in late 2005 I have been using Panasonic 2300 Rechargeable AA's with a Panasonic BQ-390A Quick Charger. The name of the charger is deceptive as it takes about 3 hours for a full charge. This is no problem as I have about 6 sets of batteries. The charger is nice and small, has a neat carrying case that also holds 4 batteries and fits easily in a camera bag. I have some clear plastic cases from Henrys for carrying the charged spare batteries and red cases for storing the depleted batteries ($10.00 for one of each). So far no problems with the batteries. Even my granddaughter has one for her Point and Shoot.

Hi,

I use Energizers 2500mah and for the charger my old Vanson charger. I may try the Ray-O-Vac Hybrids soon, But have not needed to yet.

I use eneloops and a Samya LCD charger (got it on eBay, seems to work well enough).

I use some Campower Charger and Batteries:

4 x 2500 mah
4 x 2400 mah
1 Hour charger with either wall or car adapter.
All that for 28$ USD (30$ CDN in fact).

I am very impress with the batteries and the charger. The batteries last for a very very long time. The charger usually do not take more than 30 minutes if the batteries are not fully depleted (like one day of use, and then I recharge them no matter what). Especially since I paid so little for them. There was a promotion and the 4 x 2500 came in the mail directly from the company though. The two downsides (very little): The paper (label) around some of the batteries started to came off little bit (used some tape and now its fine) and when the batteries get a full charge from the charger, they are  really hot.

I used them in my old Canon Powershot S2 IS. And now in my Sigma 500 flash.

La Crosse BC-900 and I really want to try the Eneloop's since I am sick of charging batteries and having them sit a week and then put them in the camera and they show up dead. I have have 4 sets of energizer nimh that do this I would not buy them again. The batteries the lacrosse sends with the charger seem two hold their charge better while sitting

About a month ago I switched to Sony 2500mah with 15 minute charger - $60.00CDN for 4 AA and charger - extra batteries are 4 AA for $20.00. So far they seem to be excellent. The charger has a good fan built in to keep it cool.
