These days I do not use a skylight filter or the like but do use a CP or ND8 sometimes and find the standard Hoya's to be okay. Whenever I can though I do not use them.

Cheers.

I mostly use a Tiffen CP (not very often though) and my new toy, a Cokin P system Grad ND 8.  I was playing with it today and it was a lot of fun.  Its kinda hard to put the P mount on a lens when your hands are cold though!!

I use B+W MRC UV Haze filter to protect my lenses, and a Nikon Circular Polarizer.

I use B+W UV filters to protect the lenses when needed and a few CP filters from B+W.

Unless you can match quality of your lens than don't bather. I use Heliopan polarizer and ND filters. In poor weather or dangerous environment situation I use regular UV.  O0
