Another Pttl wasted moment

This poor guy blinked in 10 shots in a row.  I tried countdowns and trickery. But ended up having to switch the flash to manual.   My oldest also goes blinky at the 'P' ttl.  No such thing as a quick family snap with that kid.

I found myself smiling when I read your post. My wifes best friend blinks at the mere thought of a flash. I remember taking 50 shots of the two of them. I tried everything under the sun. I finally managed to get one shot of her not blinking (bounced the light off the ceiling). But as luck would have it my wife blinked in that shot.  Frustrated, I sifted through the lot of photos and picked the best overall shot and photo shopped in the eyes from the one successful capture I managed to get of my wife's friend. If life gives you a lemon...... forget about making lemonade, walk across the street and order a beer
