The Pentaxer that never grew up!

Is it worth USD$160 more than the AF-360FGZ?

For me, extra power from external flash is the main reason of using an external flash Smiley So, yes, I will go for the one with highest power... Wink

I do have a 500 Super that I also use so I think it will be fine to use a 360 as a second flash.

I just bought the AF-540FGZ today. Works great. Like it a lot, and quite easy to use.

Taken with 50-200, bounced flash:

That's a beautiful portrait/daughter??, and nicely done with the bounced flash.  The 50-200 lens takes some sharp photos.

Children at this age are such a treat.  Enjoy it while you can.   Take lots of photographs.

Ya, the flash works ok...although the implementation and operation is more Nikon like than Canon.
The 50-200 is very sharp, and the photo of my daughter has not been through USM. Hahahah! It's that good ya! Wink

SooMing,

Great that you still manage to get the 540FGZ flash, as it has been out of stock in most places in Malaysia & Singapore now. Shriro Malaysia also has no stock.

Nice natural colour of your daughter! What is the setting did you use on your K10D and did you do any colour adjustment in PS? Smiley

I got the 2nd last unit at Tarita (Sungai Wang) yesterday. Settings are 'Neutral', and Contrast -2.

Post processing is standard, applying a S-curve and the colours will jump right out!

No USM, final touch is just a little but of Levels, increasing the brightness a little.

Glad you like it. As usual, the colours from Pentax is great!
