Some of you might have already notice that on every member, there is a RATING under it

If someone is helpful and knowledgeable in replying to questions, or post photos that you feel worth praising, post articles or reviews that are good/in-depth...etc. anything that you feel worth giving an encouragement...you can actually give him/her an [Applaud] and he/she will then receive a +1 rating

On the other hand, if someone is bad or naughty in the forum...you can then give him/her a [Smite] and he/she will get a -1 rating 

The Rating shown is the average that a member has received 

So, start sharing and do not be stingy to show your appreciation to someone by [Applaud]ing him/her

While doing some house cleaning tonight (mostly on the front page, sweeping out old stale bits to make room for new items) I saw the above original post by Kho regarding the member "rating" process and thought that I would get it back into circulation so new members would know what the the rating system is and how they can use it to encourage or reward other member's efforts.
